Post 3: Life as an Undergrad-Bobby

My life as an undergrad has been an interesting experience that is not yet completed. One of the hardest things for me is driving to and from school since i live in north cape coral. FGCU is so far away from my house and the drive is very demanding on my day. I am constantly busy doing school work, my job, involved with my church, and playing baseball. Life seems o busy right now, but i am in no hurry to become fully employed. My classes at FGCU are very different from the classes i took at edison, where i went for my first two years of college.

This is only the first of my life as an undergrad posting, stay tuned for more to come.

I know your pain as far as commuting goes, I commute from South Naples every day. Look at it this way, the drive gives you a chance to blast the music and clear your head of all of the day's worries.

I read your "technology autobiography." Very interesting reading. I almost fainted when I saw Atari. Wow. Primitive.

One thing I often think about is how technologically illiterate I was through most of my youth. I was graduated from high school in 1985. I was in a swanky district in northern NJ, 20 minutes outside of Manhattan. We had NO computers in my school. Nothing.

Now, I wonder how teens would function without MySpace and e-mail. I don't know how I would function either. One thing is certain, I will never be out of the technology loop again.
